Removing God from the Country
The Anti-God Movement's Attempt to Remove All Words Relating to God from State Buildings
What I don't understand is why we want to waste precious tax dollars removing "Deo" and "God" from state walls. I'm sure Californians could use that money for recovering from the fires. Oh, that's right the words relating to God are gone and so is the money. And to think that the history of our country is slipping from our fingertips. I am not radical in my beliefs. I am not Christian. And while I would love to see "Goddess Bless America," I wont hold my breath, or demand a monetary recall so that the government can remove "God" from the last few dollars in circulation. Why waste tax payers dollars in an attempt to erase the truth of the short lived history of this country. Change the future, leave the past alone.
Keep church and state separate by simple means. Learn religious tolerance. Print a dollar bill that says, "Goddess Bless, God Bless, Allah Bless, Yahweh Bless, Buddah Bless and all others bless America" because this country needs all the help it can get. Nationalistic pride versus religious arrogance is a war with no winners, it's a path Hitler traveled and I hate to follow in that depraved man's footsteps.
As far as removing the bible from our schools, sure thing if you want a Nationalistic society conned into socialism. Then the question becomes: What Would Hitler Do? Anti-god activists are fighting a battle that is flawed by design. It harms American children to have the bible removed from classrooms. The bible is a good book. The first book. Children can read the bible without being taught to believe the bible. Teach your children what to believe and when they are old enough they will make their own decisions. I was taught the bible in school, while carrying lunch money that read "God Bless America" and I'm still Wiccan. Religion is a choice and our children should be taught many religions in the name of tolerance. Complete removal of religion, religious history and religious Latin mottoes is quite simply the step Hitler took when attacking Jewish religion.
I support the freedom of every religion and the freedom of education. Don't stop our children from knowing their own history. Leave "God" alone. Goddess bless the world.

Born a catholic prepared to die as one, I should expect all thiis games, old tricks of the devil as i call it, Sodom was destroyed by sulfur and fire because of Homosexuality, now the devil knows the end is comming, the question is how many souls can he claim before he is put in chains, God is spirit so we cannot remove him from schools. He dwells in the spirit of children. Even trees will praise his name, he doesn't need the supreme court.

I appreciate this feedback. Coming from someone who once was Wiccan and now a born again Christian, one can appreciate this perspective. All it does is prove the power of God, because obviously He bothers a lot of people and they are trying to rid Someone that is omnipresent. :) Good read ;)
I really enjoyed this article a lot. You are very right about erasing history. It takes a lot of strength from an individual to accept the past and work to improve it, not eradicate it. I grew up going to a Christian pre-school but I went through several stages (Atheism and Agnosticism) that led me to convert to Judaism. That is also proof that religion cannot be decided by your country.
