Removing Scratches from Apple MacBook or iPod Nano

If you own an Apple MacBook then you have probably found out that this is a great computer, the problem is that it tends to get very dirty because of the color of the MacBook. I own a white MacBook, but I do have friends that own the black MacBook version and it gets just as dirty. One of the big problems with these MacBook computers is that they are made of plastic on the exterior of my computer. This is also the part that is most exposed when you are using the computer or lugging it around at a café. You can remove the scratches from the top of the MacBook by using toothpaste and applying it directly to a piece of cotton. You then need to scrub the top of the MacBook in order to buff out the scratches. This will take about 20 minutes of time and you will need to wipe the computer down with a wet paper towel once this is done. After that, go over the top with a dry paper towel and let it rest for about three hours. If you spend enough time and scrub hard enough then you will remove the scratches.

I find that Novus is more effective on light scratches and the toothpaste method is more effective on deeper scratches.
