Arizona Renaissance Festival - Located approximately 40 miles east of Phoenix in Apache Junction, Arizona. This fair will run on weekends from mid-February through March from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Parking will be free. Tickets will be approximately $20 for adults and $8 for kids ages 5 - 12, with children under 5 free. Tickets for seniors age 60 and over will be approximately $17.00. Passes will be available. Those wishing to dress in period costumes will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Events include themed weekends such as Fiesta Renaissance, Children's Carnival, It's A Pirate's Life, Magical Merriment, Celtic Nations Celebrations, and Fruit of the Vine. Special Student Days will also be scheduled. Gripping jousting tournaments, enchanting belly dancers, amazing archers, captivating music, and more will delight visitors. Skilled artisans selling fine jewelry, candles, toys, clothing, instruments, weapons, and many more items will tempt attendees as they stroll through the festival feasting on decadent edibles. Renaissance in the Pines - Located approximately 140 miles north of Phoenix in Flagstaff, Arizona. This fair will run the weekend of June 23rd - 24th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Parking will be free. Adult tickets will be $9, kids ages 6-12 will be $5, and children under age 5 will be admitted for free. Passes will be available. Those wishing to attend in period dress are required to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. No alcohol will be sold or permitted. Features will include the Poppets Dell, a place for children with activities, games, and face painting; and the Poppets Quest, where children must search the fair for all the secret symbols in order to earn an introduction to the Queen and receive recognition. Fun games will include the Knife Throw, Axe Throw, and Rogues Tower. Blacksmith and combat demonstrations will impress young and old. Two Rivers Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 185 miles west of Phoenix in Yuma, Arizona. This fair will run in 2008 from February 1st - February 3rd from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Sunday. Adult tickets will be $10, kids ages 6 - 12 and military with ID will be $5, and children ages 5 and under will be free. Presale tickets will be available starting November 2007. Attendees in costume will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Special events will include a school day on February 1st.
