Renaissance Fairs in California in October and November

California City Renaissance Festival - Located approximately 110 miles north of Los Angeles in California City, California. Tickets will be $12 for adults, $7 for seniors, $7 for kids ages 6 - 12, and free for children ages 6 and under. Students who provide proof of school assignment (form available on the fair website) can receive a discounted price. Those wishing to attend in costume must keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Skilled knights will thrill with jousting tournaments, storytellers will delight and amuse with many tales, musicians and dancers will amaze with their fine talents. Escondido Fall Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 25 miles north of San Diego in Escondido, California. This fair will be held weekends October 27^th - November 4^th from 10:00 am - dusk. Parking will be $4. Tickets will be $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $8 for kids ages 5 - 11, and free for children ages 4 and under. Those who choose to dress in period attire will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Food and drink are allowed, but alcohol may not be brought into the fair. Visitors may bring leashed pets. Special features of this fair include a play area for children adjacent to the site.
