Tickets will be $10 for adults, $9 for veterans and seniors, $5 for kids ages 8 - 12, and free for children ages 7 and under. Pets are allowed provided they are leashed and well-behaved. Des Moines Renaissance Faire - Located in Des Moines, Iowa at Festival Park. This fair will be held weekends September 1st - 16th from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Tickets prices are unknown at this time. Dogs and cats will be allowed, only one animal per person, with additional rules posted on their website. Those who are 18 years and older and wish to dress in costume will not be permitted to carry any kind of firearm and will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Themed weekends will include Pirates Wenches and Rogues with an invasion of the peaceful village, Vikings Knights and Bravehearts featuring a historic view of the Norman Conquests, and Romance Wine and Revelry full of romantic moments. Sioux City Riverssance Festival - Located approximately 79 miles west of Storm Lake in Sioux City, Iowa. This fair will be held October 6th - 7 from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am - 4:00 on Sunday. Tickets will be $8 for adults, $3 for kids ages 7 - 16, and free for children ages 6 and under. Those wishing to dress up will not be allowed to carry firearms and will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Performances by magicians, storytellers, musicians, and many more talented entertainers will delight visitors of all ages.
