Wicked Winter Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 30 miles northeast of Trenton in Edison, New Jersey. This fair will be held February 8th - 9th in 2008 from 12:00 pm - 12:00 am. Parking will be free. Tickets will be $15. This is a mature event. Children under age 16 will only be admitted with prior approval. Those who wish to dress up will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Imagine, if you will, a bunch of pirates invading a Renaissance Faire, only to find that ninjas beat them to it. And that is only the beginning of this indoor medieval-style festival with strange twists. There will be a wide variety of entertainment; as well as vendors offering clothing, collectibles, art, jewelry, leather goods, weapons, armor, food, and drink. Medfest - Located approximately 55 miles north of Trenton in Madison, New Jersey at Drew University. This fair, presented by That Medieval Thing, will be held one Saturday in mid-April from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Parking and admission will be free. Those who wish to dress up will not be allowed firearms, and weapons must be kept sheathed and peace-tied. No alcohol will be sold or permitted. Visitors will enjoy fine performances, impressive archery and fencing tournaments, a fascinating living chessboard, delectable food, and amusing games. West Windsor Lions Club Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 10 miles east of Trenton in West Windsor, New Jersey at Mercer County Park. This fair will be held May 19th - 20th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on Sunday. Tickets will be $7 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6 - 11, and free for children ages 5 and under. Those wishing to dress in period attire must keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Picnics and leashed pets are allowed. No alcohol will be sold or permitted. The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) Barony of Carillion will provide exciting and educational demonstrations in fighting, fencing, archery, and more.
