Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Market Place
Rock Creek, Ohio
July 7 - August 12, 2007 weekends
This step back in history offers weekends of fund and entertainment. Costumed characters wander the village in medieval clothing to provide merriment visitors. Entertainment by variety of performers including musicians, belly dancers, comedians and story telling. Over 100 skilled artisans display and sell their wares which include period souvenirs, costumes and jewelry. Specialty foods and drinks are sure to arouse the appetite.
Each weekend has its own theme. On August 4-5 the theme is Oktoberfest: Medieval Brew's. On August 11-12 the theme is Roman Holiday Wine, Romans and Toga! Toga! Toga!.
The Circo Famiglia Zoppe circus will perform on the weekend of August 4-5. Circo Famiglia Zoppe Spectacular! is a Medieval Circus troupe that comes from Venice, Italy. Four shows only: 3 pm an d730 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The 3 pm show is an additional $10 admission. The 7:30 pm show is an additional $20 admission. The 730 pm show includes a BBQ meal. The Zoppe Family Circus has been performing under the Big Top since 1842.
Tickets are Adults $17.95, Children $5.95. Free Parking. The Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Market Place is held in Rock Creek, Ohio, in the vicinity of Cleveland and Columbus.
Ohio Renaissance Festival

The 16th century English Village is located on a 30 acre permanent village with authentically and historically recreated structures to capture the flavor of England during the sovereign reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Visitors see a full day of entertainment featuring full armored jousting, as it was done over 400 years ago by the knights or the realm.
Queen Elizabeth and her royal will be in attendance, presiding over the festivities. Captivating jugglers, musicians, dancers, comedians, fire=-eaters, sword-fighters and storytellers provide a full day of entertainment Hundreds of costumed performers, wear the clothing of the medieval times entertain on 12 different stages. Entertainers include The Swordsmen, The Spectacular 65' Pirate Ship, Knights off Valour, Threatre In The Ground, In addition, you can climb the 25 ' Castle Tower and enjoy the human powered rides.

Taste of the Renaissance features food and drink, wit delectable treats such as giant turkey legs, bread bowl stew, steak-on-a-stake, stuffed spuds nd vegetarian selections. Quench you thirst with a hearty ale or flavorful wine.
