My noble lords and fair ladies, listen to my fine tale of high medieval adventure with a touch of fantasy! Breathtaking swordplay, exotic foods, delicate faeries, and more await you at renaissance fairs! And there are a number to attend in Oregon.

Faerieworlds Festival - Located approximately 20 miles west of Eugene in Veneta, Oregon at Secret House Winery. This fair will be held July 21st - 22nd beginning at 12:00 pm on both days. Parking will be $10 per vehicle for the weekend, with carpools of 4 or more allowed free. Advance tickets will be $20 for adults with a weekend pass available for $35, $6.50 for kids ages 5 - 12 with a weekend pass for $12, and free for children ages 4 and under. Those who choose to dress in costume will not be allowed to carry weapons. Visitors will experience a celebration of the imagination with an eclectic mix of music and other performances. Several premier artists and authors including Brian and Wendy Froud, Amy Brown, Jessica Galbreth, Neil and Alicen Geddes-Ward, Holly Black, Patricia McKillip, and Jayel Gibson will be making appearances. A children's area will feature craft activities such as mask and crown making, corn dolly making, lantern making, and a lantern parade held in the evening. Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 35 miles southwest of Salem in Kings Valley, Oregon. This fair will be held September 8th - 9th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Parking will be free. Tickets will be $9 for adults, $5 for seniors and kids ages 6 - 12, and free for children ages 5 and under. Those wishing to dress in period attire will not be allowed to carry firearms, and must keep unsharpened blades sheathed and peace-tied. Guests will be permitted to have picnics in Friar Tucks' Forest. Visitors will enjoy exciting jousts twice a day, captivating music, outrageous comedy, and several other performances. Merchants will be offering exquisite handcrafted jewelry, armor, leather goods, clothing, musical instruments, candles, art, bath products, and more.
