Port Washington Pirate Festival - Located approximately 26 miles north of Milwaukee in Port Washington, Wisconsin. This fair will be held June 1st - 3rd from 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 am - 11:00 pm on Saturday, and 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Sunday. Parking and admission will be free. Those who choose to dress up must keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Invading pirates will engage in cannon fire and sword fights, the Thieves Marketplace will be open to all who wish to gain some treasures, and the Gruel Gallery will be offering fine grub and grog (food and drink to landlubbers!). Wisconsin Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 90 miles east of Wausau in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. This fair will be held weekends June 16th - July 15th from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm. Tickets will be $12 for adults, $8 for kids ages 6 - 12, and free for children ages 5 and under. Parking will be free. Those wishing to dress in costume will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Visitors can enjoy thrilling jousts, hilarious comedy, enchanting music, and even learn to juggle or gypsy dance. Bristol Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 40 miles south of Milwaukee in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This fair will be held weekends and Labor Day Monday July 7th - September 3rd from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm. Tickets will be $19 for adults, $9.50 for kids ages 5 - 12, and free for children ages 4 and under. Parking will be $3. Those who wish to dress up will be required to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Special features include Scouts Days held August 18th - 19th and Red Hat Society Day on August 11th. Wedding packages are available. Visitors can witness many fascinating and educational demonstrations including blacksmithing, pottery, coin minting, and glassblowing as well as historical re-enactments of life in 16th century England. Younger patrons will enjoy games, rides, and a petting zoo full of fun animals. Several fine craftspeople will be offering their best wares while vendors will be ready with excellent period foods and drinks.
