Reno 911! Canceled

They Were the Best at Not Being the Best

After six incredible seasons, it was announced on Thursday afternoon on Twitter by Thomas Lennon that Reno 911! has been canceled. We are all shocked and sadden by the news.

Thursday afternoon, Lennon posted this tweet "Reno 911! was canceled at 1:30 P.M. today. Won't be wearing the shorts again." This came as a shock to many of us, and I am sure that there are innumerable fans that are disappointed as well in this announcement.

There have been several tweets in response to this announcement being made.

@LaundroMatty tweeted, ""REno 911!"is no longer.Let's have a moment of silence for the magic that was Thomas Lennon's, aka Lt. Jim Dangle, short shorts."

Another disappointed tweet from @DoMeNoHarm about the cancellation of Reno 911! wrote, "Reno 911! is cancelled! Howwill I watch Thomas Lennon is shortshorts now??"

Yet another Reno 911! fan, @Jeremyodellknox tweeted "Lennon that sucks! I loved the show...I mess the mexican though"

There are many fans disappointed to hear the news, and many more broken hearts yet to come. These officers taught and give us so much over there years.

Lt. Jim Dangle, the character played by none other than Thomas Lennon, will be missed immensely along with his trademark short-shorts.

Dep. Wiegel and her slightly psychotic antics will be remembered fondly.

Dep. Jones offered to us that detached and promiscuous behavior could be funny given the right circumstance, and maybe not so funny at other times.

We will all also miss Dep. Garcia, who was absent on the sixth season, dislike for almost everything, he was always able to say the right thing to make us laugh.

The cleavage shots of Dep. Johnson, who was also absent on the sixth season, will be a lingering memory for all.

Junior was the Dep. that reminded us all that there is only so many times you can hurt yourself for the satisfaction of others before it damages your mental capacity.

We all know that life has to be taken seriously sometimes, but Dep. Kimball took that a little overboard.

Last but certainly not least, the beautiful Dep. Williams who reminded us all that a healthy baby is worth $10-20,000 on the Internet.

Reno 911! will be missed tremendously, but there is always the possibility of a new funny show that will help to fill some of huge comedic void that will has been left in our hearts by the cancellation of Reno 911! At least we will always have the DVDs to remember our favorite Reno squad. Farewell Reno 911!
