Renpure Organics I Love My Hair Body & Shine Conditioner is 100% Certified Organic

Susan Slade
The past couple of weeks I have been using Renpure Organics I love my hair body & shine conditioner. I purchased it at CVS pharmacy, it was already reduced from $6.99 to $4.99, and I received the $4.99 back in the form of a coupon, off my next store purchase.

The bottle is really unusual. It is a bright lime green color, and it's off center. It angles itself to the left. The bottle is 13.5 fluid ounces (400 ml). It has a lime green plastic flip up lid. However, with my bottle, the lid didn't seal it properly, as some of the conditioner has dried on the top of the lid, on the back of the lid, and also the back of the bottle. As I got this product just for the cost of the sales tax, I will not be taking it back.

So I washed my hair with a color treated shampoo, and rinsed it well. I then picked up the bottle of Renpure Organics conditioner. The bottle is slippery, but that really doesn't matter, because your hand stops at the neck of the bottle, just before the lid. Once the lid is open, it is simple enough to tip the bottle up, so that the conditioner comes out.

It is a white cream, and has a pleasant citrus smell to it. I squeezed some in the palm of my hand, and then rubbed my hands together. I then pulled my fingers through my wet, washed hair. I took my hair back, lifted it up from the back, and then through the sides. Once I had gone all over my hair, I allowed the conditioner to stay on for a couple of minutes.

I then rinsed it off. I put my fingers through my hair again, and there were no knots, just smooth hair. I loved the smell my hair had to it.

From here I continued on with my regular hair routine, using gel, blow-drying it, using the curling iron, teasing it, and then putting it into a French twist.

My hair did shine, but didn't have any more body than using a cheap conditioner.

What Renpure have on the front of their bottle:
"Green tea, chamomile & soy protein.
Made with 100% certified organic extracts and safe, fresh, natural ingredients.
Color safe formula.
No sulfates, parabens, color, dyes."

Ingredients:
water (aqua), cetaeryl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, camellia sinesis (green tea) leaf extract, chamomilla recuitia (matricaria) flower extract, panthenol, hydrolyzed soy protein, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) see doil, dicetyldimonium chloride, certimonium chloride, glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, stearalkonium chloride, citric acid, trisodium iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, fragrance (parfum).

They also state that "These products are not tested on animals. Tested on the Redmonds." The Redmond Family have been making hair care products for the past 40 years.

This is a product that I like. I feel that $6.99 is more than I would be willing to pay for this product. If I could get a buy one, get one free, or a coupon to bring it down to the $4 range, then I would certainly buy the Renpure Organics line of shampoo and conditioner.

Sometimes it is nice just knowing that I am being good to my hair.
