Re-Occurring Numbers

The rain lightly sprinkled on the roof of the, Collins Estate. The autumn wind smelled of dead leaves. Invigorating and relaxing together. The scenery combining, a peaceful aura of a rainbow in the distance. Kendra Collins, and her husband Pete, were fast asleep. Mocha, their toy poodle nestled under the sheets between the couple.

Kendra works as a novelist, whiles her husband Pete, and did photography for a living. He has worked with many famous faces. Mocha part pit bull, watched over the house and for a dog was a great mouser. Therefore, you would say she had a feline-like quality. This very imaginative and created family was well off in the talent category. They had anything and everything the heart could desire, but their love for one another is desires the most. Married for six years, and going strong like a fairy tale fiction love. Apparently exists with them. Envy, was the deadly sin their relatives, friends, neighbors, and cannot forget their rivals.

The sun seeped thru the window of their bedroom, annoying awakening Pete. It was a Saturday first day of October. He rolled over and watched his lovely wife pretending to sleep. Her luscious auburn hair was even more vivid of reds, reflecting the sun, like a spotlight showing the details of his amazing fantasy.

Wrapping his strong arm around his sleeping beauty, but he knew better her insomnia, was a lot worse when she contemplating, on a new story idea. She was so, serious about her passion that she would become physically ill before, she would even begin writing. The nausea would subside, but the insomnia would take over. It left his bride a zombie perfectionist.

"I know better you're not sleeping", he whispered in her ear.

"How can me when the dragon breath is frightening". "I thought I was having a nightmare". She teased.

"I actually was about to doze off until, the gut wrenching o9dor disturbed me". She laughed hysterically.

"Very Funny!" he tickled her.

"Why don't you try to get some rest." He excused himself from the bedroom quickly.

Oh, no I am not sleepy now. You're up and so, am I". She followed him downstairs, but no one asked Mocha, cute sleepy-eyed while she yawned. In addition, off she went like usually following her masters down the spiral stairway.
The phone rang and they both ignored it. It was Saturday and nothing could separate them. Kendra made bagels with crème cheese. She allowed Mocha to lick the leftover cheese off the butter knife. Pete brewed the coffee and took some fruit out of the refrigerator. Pete's cell phone than began to ring.

"Shut it off baby". She pleaded with her husband

"I won't be long". He promised

It was work calling him for a photo shoot with one of his biggest clients. He wanted to deny it, but he could not. He hung-up the phone and frowned at his wife. Her blazing green eyes gleamed like emeralds. She already knew what he was about to say.

"Page Sullivan, let me guess". She stated coldly.

"Yes, she asked if I could possibly since its Saturday". He gulped his
coffee avoiding those eyes.

"It's ok this time, but only this time". She warned with a disappointing smile.

"You're the best babe"! I better get running before she changes her mind. He quickly kissed her and rushed out the door.

"Well Mocha, just you and me again girl". Mocha looked up at Kendra as if she was disappointed too.
