I will praise the Lord again,
With all I have and all I am.
My soul and spirit call His name;
To do so is my only aim.
I will recall all He has done,
His many gifts, counting each one.
For He has canceled out my wrongs
And granted strength my whole life long.
The Great Physician makes me well
And saves me from the pit of hell.
But best of all, someday above,
He'll crown my head with peace and love.
My wants and more, He satisfies,
With wonders right before my eyes.
My Maker gives me strength to stand
To soar o'er troubles in His hands.
The Lord, He lifts the sad oppressed
He hears their call and calls them blessed.
Since Moses' time in days of old,
His mighty ways have been retold.
My God is filled with kindest grace;
He bore His anger in my place.
His goodness triumphs in the end,
This awesome God, who calls me friend.
Though I deserve a darker fate,
He bought for me a future great.
His love is more than we can test,
From north to south, or east to west.
Forgiveness granted, once for all,
For all who answer to His call.
He buries evil's residue
Beyond a distance we can view.
This loving Father, our great Lord,
Deserves o'er all to be adored.
He treasures those who fear His fame,
Who make His mercy their one claim.
Our Maker knows we're simply mud,
Disguised in human flesh and blood.
We carry pride and vain conceit,
While trusting Him for each heartbeat.
Our days are short; they vanish soon,
Like flowers blooming every June.
A single breeze can knock us flat,
And send us from this habitat.
But He remains forever still,
To lavish love on those He will.
His hand of blessing rests upon
Their offspring, as they carry on.
They trust His promise and His ways
And look to Him for all their days.
His Kingdom stands forevermore,
His character, the underscore.
Angelic armies join the song
To give Him glory, ever long.
Those who know Him only boast
In Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Praise the Lord, all creation,
Every region, every nation.
Praise His name, and Him extol,
Praise the Savior, O my soul.
