Replace the Add Comment Link with Cool Buttons on MySpace

Did you know that you can replace the Add Comment Link with cool comment buttons? Now you can use buttons for Add Comment instead of using the Add Comment Link. All you need is your friend ID and find the button that you want to use. In this tutorial I will show you how to replace the boring Add Comment Link with cool comment buttons.

There are two sites that I found with comment buttons. Once of the sites allows you to create a plain button, you choose the colors and all. Then the other site has comment buttons already made. All you have to do is copy the code, enter your friend ID and paste the code.

How to Get your Friend ID

Let me show you first how to get your friend ID. Until I started using things like this, I didn't even know where the Friends ID was. View your MySpace profile. In the address bar at the top you will see a long address. In the address you will see friendid=204680305. Find this in your address bar and copy the numbers only. Your numbers will be different from these. I just used these numbers for an example. This is your Friends ID, so any time that you are asked for it, this is what you will need.

The first site is Dazzle Junction. Click this link to go to the comment page. This is the site that you can create the buttons yourself. The first step is to enter your friend ID. The next section is the Button Text Color. This is the color of the text that will appear on the button. Click the colors link to open the window with the color codes. Choose the color that you want to use and type the code in the field.

The button background color is the color of the button. Enter the code in the field for the color that you want to use. In the next field, type what you want to appear on the button. The next field is for the color of your button border. Enter the color code in the field. Then select the border size and style. Click the Generate button to get your code. Paste this code in the about me section.

The next site is Hot-Lyts. Click this link to go to the comment page. There are two pages of comment buttons to choose from. Look through the comment buttons and find the one that you want to use. Copy the code in the box below the comment button. Paste the code in your About Me section. You will need to enter your Friend ID where it says PLACEFRIENDIDHERE in the code.
