You can all be insulted by this if you want, but you allowed "teabaggers" with questionable political agendas to win over people with experience. You allowed people with nothing but loud and hateful voices to be voted into office, rather than letting the intelligent black man continue to do the job he's been doing, and all in the name of racism. What's really sad is that some of you are completely unaware that you have fallen prey to this racism too (although that raises you only slightly in my eyes). You have allowed yourselves to believe that you are making "morally and ethically conscious voting decisions," but in reality, this is nothing more than a cover the GOP uses for what is truly happening in the United States. Come on, people! Can you not see that racism and hate are the chief motivators here? No, I guess you can't. But I would like you to stop and think about it for a moment, and then tell me what God it is that you believe in that would want you to not support your fellow man? Which God do you follow that would not want you to strive toward helping people less fortunate than you? I don't know about your God, but my God ordered me to feed the hungry and house the homeless and take care of those who suffer, which is the antithesis of Republican ideology. So, no, voting Republican is not the moral and ethical choice.
Well, what is done is done. There is no point in continuing to try to make you see the error of your ways. I suppose that I will just have to hope that you read this and recognize yourselves. We as a society must now all suffer the consequences of the Election Day disaster of 2010. I imagine that I will be okay. I don't really have much to lose. But when the economy completely falls, and I assume it will at the rate we are going, those at the top will hit the hardest. And there are a few people that I hope will be unrecognizable once they hit the ground.
