Republicans Warned Not to Mention Obama by Name in the 2012 Presidential Election

Snidely Whiplash
My, my, how true the axiom "the more things change the more they stay the same." At present there is an issue of major contention floating around presidential election circles in both parties. The concept is basically that whomever Republican's nominate to run against His Highness will have to not mention him by name...stick to policy and things the hopeful Republican would do if elected, but as far as criticizing the current Egghead in Chief, well that's a no-no, because as the 2008 election showed, any disagreement with Obama is couched by lefties as racism. Let me disabuse them and everyone of this nonsense.

Do folks recall how may times Obama invoked the words "Bush administration" or "present administration" etc., in his running for POTUS? Every third word out of his mouth was one whereby he painted Bush as evil and he was the counter to it. So Obama was able to make direct mention of Bush, right? But anyone running against this current lameazoid can't mention his name? What, is He God fer Christsakes? Can't take His name in vain?

And ever careful to play along there are some pundits advising the RNC and various RINO presidential hopefuls that to mention Obama by name is a sin. His character is completely off limits. Say what? So if the Republican nominee were say a bed-wetter until they were 12 years old, that must be pointed out as clear proof they prolly tortured kittens and are serial murders, but if Obama lied like a rug in most of his campaign promises and his since election lies and actions, why then these events dare not be mentioned.

Once again, in war, and politics is war like it or not, one DOES NOT allow their adversary to define the terms of engagement. How stupid can one be to not see this or to advocate that Obama's character is not in question? Hell, you can bet your last dime the character of every Republican running will be drug through the muck in an effort to defame and negate. Can you say "Sarah Palin?" As I wrote earlier today, one clown even went so far to threaten her parent's lives that he took a photo of a gun he bought, a photo of the receipt and a photo of a one way plane ticket to Alaska. Didn't lefties tell us "hands off politician's families?" I'm sure I heard that somewhere. HYPOCRITES!

Republican presidential timber falls into two distinct categories: the RINO's and usual suspects with no backbone to follow through with the will of the voters as expressed last November, and of course the Palin's, Michele Bachmann's, Marco Rubio's and Chris Christie types who do not cower in the face of leftist demands - demands mind you that are pure political gamesmanship and clearly not genuine in merit.

The truth is when lefties slip up like Obama did in the telling Joe the Plumber "we need to spread the wealth around" they suffer for it, of course not His Highness as he's just so special nothing applies to Him. He's a black guy ya know, so he gets a pass. And remember as his VP, Joe Biden once specified "Obama is a clean and articulate black guy." (paraphrased) Nope...no one better say anything negative about Obama.

Frankly I must confess my admiration to the left. They know no bounds of decency or fairness in seeking their political power. Seemingly they, like Himmler once confessed to Hitler, "would kill my own parent's for the cause." (paraphrased) So if a lefty would do that there is little doubt they would run over the rest of us with that bus of theirs.

Lastly, know this. Republican's will increase their hold on Congress by taking the Senate. Democrat Senators up for 2012 reelection are dropping out like flies because they privately admit they stand little chance of reelection in this Tea Party climate of fiscal responsibility and a desire of the populace to return to the Founding principles. But Obama, despite his never-ending missteps and rather blatant lies, is still reasonably popular and may yet win reelection.

If citizens think this current political makeup in the halls of power is rife for gridlock, you ain't seen nothing yet until Republican's have both Houses and Obama is still POTUS. Without super majorities to override any veto Obama will issue, and boy will he issue them, we are sunk. If ya think it sucks today, hang on...it's gonna get even more sucky if no Republican will step up and refuse to kotow to the leftist demands to frame the argument strictly in terms they approve of. Obama's character, or total lack thereof is indeed one of the major issues if not THE issue in 2012.

More intimidation from the party of 'tolerance' and 'diversity'. No surprises here, only soon, the people are going to push back, and push back hard!

Snide - You need to change this sentence..."Do folks recall how may times Obama invoked the words "Bush administration"...to ..."Do folks recall how may times Obama INVOKES the words "Bush administration"...because he's still doing it. Somehow or other, he will bring people around to thinking that the latest gas price surge and all the Middle East tumult is - guess what? - Bush's fault. In fact, history will probably show Bush started Japan's earthquake. Boy. For a guy whom the liberals call a dummy, Dubya sure accomplishes a lot. I agree with "Mo Better's" first sentence.

Whip, you are entirely correct and right on target, however, I am deeply worried that the spineless Republicans are caving in to the advice that they be politically correct in 2012. Did these mindless twits not learn a damned thing from 2008? It was allowing the leftist rats to define the issues and define the parameters of what was to be discussed and what was off-limits by their definition that got us into the dire straits in which every facet of our lives as freedom-loving Americans is being destroyed by the Closet-Muslim-In-Chief.

My advice is to throw brickbats at the Head Abortionist Elitist Marxist at every opportunity for every issue.

The concept that he alone is entitled to immunity from criticism and disparagement is insulting and destructive of the processes which have applied to every other candidate who has ever striven for, or achieved, the highest office in the land.

I don't care what ungrounded, baseless retaliation is leveled at the vast majority of Ame

Great commentary, Whip. You nailed it again. And like Nancy said, the comments are but a plus to this read.

Never heard of Marge before your mention of her Don, so I looked her up. Interesting, though she was described universally, but for one, as a "kook!' Of course that does not preclude her being a victim in some way... I mean "kooks" do make great victims.LOL

Gee. I wonder if they'd give me permission to call him "Obamalamadingdong." Or "Mau-Mau?" Or "Lenin's Greatest Achievement?" Would Teddy "Chappaquidick" Kennedy's ghost approve of me calling Lord Obama a disgusting parasite? Will the big-government loving boot-lickers grant me permission to say anything like the referenced nicknames I have used so far? I wonder if Bill Clinton still gets pissy over Juanita Broderick getting mentioned? Does George Bush approve of me mentioning Margie Schoedinger? If those asshats can't shut people up, why does Obamalamadingdong "think" he'll have any better luck?
