Reservations Only Attractions in Orlando

Luminaria
The first time I went to Florida I was amazed at all there was to do one shop after another, one attraction after another and so on. Well we quickly learned that out of everything there is to do in Orlando, half of it, you need a reservation do get into. So for a really fun vacation, keep in mind something for everyone to do and book your plans in as much notice as you can.

Mind you that some of these places take a week in advance to book, 2 of them require a month plus reservations.

Discovery Cove is a fun place for the entire family. You can swim with the dolphins, be a trainer for a day, or spend the day exploring all the attractions they have to offer. Dolphin Cove is one of the places I mentioned before about booking. During the summer months, you will need to book at least 2 months in advance. Dolphin Cove is an "all inclusive" type of attraction. They supply everything from the wet suits to the food. This is an awesome family fun adventure! Prices start at $189.00 without swimming with dolphins. For more information on Discovery Cove visit their website at www.discoverycove.com

My next adventure takes us to dinner theater. Now a lot of people love this type of adventure and Florida has a lot of them just in the Orlando area alone. Here are just a few of them:

Medieval Times, dinner and tournament. As the name states, yes this does take place during medieval times, 11th century Spain, and you even get to eat with your hands. You get to watch jousting, sword fighting, and many other skill sets. This one you will want to book a few days in advance. Two shows a night are offered. For more information on this dinner theater call 1-888-we-joust. Prices start at $59.95 and up.

This dinner theater is fun for the kids as well as the parents; Pirates Dinner Theater. We know kids of all ages love pirates, after all their always after the gold. Booking requires a few days in advance and can be done on their website at www.orlandopirates.com. Prices start at $29.00 and up.

This dinner theater is for the "older" kids; Mystery Sleuth Dinner Theater. Now who doesn't love a good murder mystery? This is one exciting and on the edge of your seat dinner show. Make your reservation a few days in advance. Dinners here start at $29.00 and up. For more information or to book your seats, visit their website at www.sleuths.com.

Now for the kids who love adrenaline, you have to visit Drive Tech. A Nascar driving experience that will leave you pumped up and full of energy. On this track you get to pass other cars, speed around corners, and drive with a professional driver if you want to. Drive Tech travels all over the USA, there for you need to visit their website; www.drivetech.com to find out when they will be in the Orlando area and schedule your drive time. Prices for driving one of the cars start at $199.00 and they only take advanced bookings. So make sure you book early.

The entire family will get a thrill out of a hot air balloon ride with the Blue Water Hot Air BalloonCompany. For $175.00 you can ride for an hour or so over Orlando. They sight-see over Disney, graze the tree tops, offer a champagne breakfast buffet, along with a take home flight certificatee. You will need to book this in advance as they only fly in the morning hours. For more information about Blue Water visit their website at www.bluewater.com.

Keep in mind that most of the outdoor attractions also consider the weather on the day you want to visit and they have excellent refund policies just for the weather. Enjoy your trip to Florida!

I found it interesting that a lot of the attractions I researched limit the amount of people that visit each day.
