If you like survival horror games then you are probably a fan of the top grossing game, Resident Evil. Recently, Resident Evil has released Resident Evil 4 on the Playstation 2 console. It has been available on Gamecube, but the new Collector's Edition on Playstation 2 has some stunning new extras.

In Resident Evil 4, you play as Leon Kennedy. You may remember Leon from Resident Evil 2. Leon was once a rookie cop in Raccoon City. Raccoon city was destroyed 6 years ago. The United States government has finally destroyed the evil Umbrella Cooperation. Today, Leon is a top United States Agent that is put on a top secret mission to find out who has kidnapped the president's daughter. His investigation takes him to Europe where he finds the unimaginable...

This game features enemies different than the typical zombies found in the previous Resident Evil games. The bosses are 1000 times worse than they were before...and you though Nemesis was bad!

Be prepared for intelligent enemies that will hunt you in packs. The controls are also much easier to maneuver over the previous Resident Evil Games. Gone are the annoying camera angles. Now the camera follows behind Leon to give you an uninhibited view. This game is also absolutely unpredictable. You never know what is going to happen next. Spine tingling horror awaits you around every corner. This game proves to be the most intense survival game of the year! Get ready to be scared out of your mind! You will not get one moment of rest.

The Playstation 2 version is almost like the Gamecube version, except with more extras. The Playstation 2 version has new weapons and costumes. But the best feature is that there is an all new side story called "Separate Ways." This new side story sheds more light on the main storyline. Gamecube, however, does have somewhat better graphics than the Playstation 2 version. Both versions do feature a horrific soundtrack.

Resident Evil 4 is newly available on Playstation 2, it is also available on Gamecube...but without the extras. It has an ESRB rating of M for mature. This is because it contains blood, gore, and intense violence.
