Residents Can Seek Help for Water Usage Problems

Royal Oak residents who are or think they are experiencing water usage problems, such as high water bills, can ask the Royal Oak Water Service Department to conduct an inspection for a leak or other problem that may be causing the higher than usual bill. In addition, the Water Service Department conducts its own investigations into high water usage.

The Water Service Department will determine if the high usage is caused by abuse of water usage, such as theft of water service from a resident or business or other types of abuse. This ensures that all Royal Oak residents and businesses are receiving the water service they need and deserve at the rates they should be paying.
