Resolutions

A Year of Poems: Day Three Hundred and Forty-Seven

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
Time to start thinking
And maybe even try them out
Your New Year's resolutuons
Like a good Girl or Boy Scout!

It has to be something special
A challenge you can do
Like giving up something
Such as smoking, candy or Mountain Dew!

Or taking on a challenge
Something to make you grow
Like writing a poem each day
(I only have eighteen to go!)
