Resorts in Jamaica for Singles

The island of Jamaica stretches across 4,400 square miles on the Caribbean Sea. The warm climate and blue water are inviting for an array of water activities. While there are no specific singles resorts in Jamaica, there are adults-only resorts that attract many singles, especially in the areas of Runaway Bay, Negril and Montego Bay, where the country's only international airport is located.

Hedonism
Hedonism has been referred to as a playground rather than a resort and fun is priority here. You will find mostly singles at this all-inclusive which is known for its repeat guests. The chain has two resorts in Jamaica. Hedonism II is in Negril and has 280 rooms and suites and six restaurants. Activities include a rock climbing wall. Hedonism III on Runaway Bay is smaller than the original, with 70 less rooms and only three restaurants, but this location has a popular glass bottom Jacuzzi. Both Hedonism resorts also have dedicated rooms, part of their beach and one swim-up bar set aside as clothing-optional. There is scheduled nightly entertainment at these hotels. Also at Hedonism, single guests may request to share a room with an assigned roommate instead of paying a single supplement.

Royal Plantation Spa & Golf Resort
Royal Plantation, located in Ocho Rios, is a property of the Sandals family that is not dedicated only to couples. All adults are welcome at this Jamaican resort. Royal Plantation only has 74 suites with a focus on personalized service. Here you will find luxury amenities like beach butlers, afternoon tea and the Caviar & champagne bar. A spa is on the premises, in addition to tennis courts, glass bottom boats, kayaks and other water sports. There is an optional Royal Plan if you would like your vacation to be all-inclusive.

Secrets Wild Orchid
Secrets Wild Orchid is in Montego Bay. This adults-only resort just opened in March of 2010. It is an all-suite property, with some that open to the water so you can actually swim out to the pool from your room. There are seven restaurants and an assortment of bars at Secrets Wild Orchid. You will also find 24 hour room service and waiters at the pool and beach. Activities include snorkeling, tennis and windsurfing. There is a full-service spa on the premises that includes saunas, a steam rooms and a Jacuzzi for eight.
