Respect - a Few Words from Jason Burkett
The comments that have prompted Jason to write to me about this was on another article concerning a miss Amanda Epps, now I the article upset Jason but it was the comments directed at Amanda that Jason found disrespectful more so then anything. Jason has asked me to past a few words on his behalf so I am keeping that promise to him. I am putting an extract of Jason's letter here for you to read as these are his words.
" I have read some of the comments being posted and although I am happy for the exposure that this case is causing, I am disturbed when someone is expressing their opinion or what they claim to be the truth they are disrespected. It has been done since the first article I wish that people will express themselves and that they will respect what everyone is saying, we don't have to agree on anything but degrading and disrespecting each other doesn't help anyone."
as the writer of this article I admit that I too was responsible for disrespecting Amanda after a particular comment that she made regarding her "moving on" and her referring to Jason and Michael as scum, others also took this as offensive. and retaliated. I wont mention the Article in which this is in reference to but I will say this Jason has shown me that he is infact a very respectful young man that is only trying to shed light on his case in the hope that others will listen. he also refers to hopefully finding some sort of unity so that things that may help him may also help Michael Perry.
Jason wishes no harm to anyone, I have a lot of respect for Jason Burkett and find him to be a very likable young man that is why I am hell bent on helping to find the truth about what happened that day.
There is alot more then meets the eye in the Jason Burkett/ Michael Perry case and one thing for sure is that both of these young men deserve to heard, We know that a cover up and corruption occurred in this case. We know that the police lied, evidence was tampered with and Kristin Willis was protected even though she was involved all because she was the step daughter of a well known "officer". no matter who you are or where you live just remember this can happen to you as it has to Jason and Michael. my only hope is that we can all assist in helping to end this nightmare for these boys and their loved ones.

Post a CommentDo u want to hear about a real nightmare? I had to take my mothers dental records to the morgue because my mother was dupmped in a swamp like trash and left for 4 days. Her heart was all over her dining room! My innocent little brother and his friend were hunted down, seperated and methodically gunned down like animals and left face down in the dirt for 7 days. I planned a double funeral before I was thirty. And my thought and dreams are forever haunted by these images. So don't begin to tell me about his boring days in prison and his nightmare. These 2 are as closest to evil Ive ever been.Burkett sealed his fate Oct 24th 2001 and he'll one day reunite with his buddy Perry whos waiting on him already in HELL!!!

I made a promise Kathy and you know what I am NOTa going anywhere....do you hear me Melyssa I know why you want us no where near Jason because you know that when he is out he will run to his Daughter and her Mother because thats where his heart lays. and YOU know that you will NEVER even come close to measuring up to that. Melyssa does not speak for me.. and I know she is a liar . She has lied to me, Jason, Tasha, Peggy, and Jasons dad over numerous issues. She tells lies to cover up the lies. Please do not let her win this!! She has caused so much pain in my family!! I have begged her to just disappear.. She is totally scum!! To be honest she is " Lying Scum"..
Melyssa your right Jason has been polite, I published an extract of his letter because I was asked to. and I keep my word. I am not a yes man for Jason and I do disagree with him on Amanda Epps. he is putting forward an opinion as was everyone else involved in that particular discussion.
I just wanted to say Jason has always been respectful to everyone and he has been above any of this drama. No one can ever Jason Jason has been anything but polite and I am so proud of him.
I agree with you Taz, Amanda deserves everything she gets no doubt about it. I posted this simply because I made a promise and the comments he made about Amanda are purely his thoughts, I disagree with him on this issue however. I know Jason has a site however it is poorly maintained and I dont think he is aware of all that went on with that article either. I stand by my comments on Amanda, but I still posted this regardless of how I disagree with Jason because my word is my bond.
