Restaurant City on Facebook: How to Earn More Ingredients
Earn More Ingredients to Learn & Level Up More Restaurant City Dishes
Restaurant City Ingredients Tip #1: Visit ALL of your friends' restaurants:
Each restaurant on your street is owned by a Restaurant City-playing Facebook friend and holds an ingredient. Make sure to visit every friend on your street to get as many ingredients as you can.
Start from one end of the street to the last, so you don't miss anyone. Do this by clicking the left arrow all the way to the end, until there are no more restaurants. Then, visit each restaurant in order to collect the ingredients.
You can visit a friend's restaurant as many times as you'd like, but you only earn an ingredient for the first visit.
Visiting diners on Gourmet Street and Random Street will not earn any ingredients.
Restaurant City Ingredients Tip #2: Add more friends:
To find more Restaurant City friends, visit one of the Restaurant City game "add me" groups on Facebook. Search "Restaurant City group" on the Facebook search box to find a group. Post a message on the wall or add people in the group to your friend list. Make sure to include "Restaurant City" in your add me message.
To find the new friend you added, go to the Restaurant City street view and type in your new friend's name in the search box.
Restaurant City Ingredients Tip #3: Correctly answer the daily quiz:
Once a day, you receive a letter in your Restaurant City mailbox. Open up the letter by clicking on the mailbox and take the quiz. By correctly answering the daily quiz, you receive an ingredient. You only get once chance to correctly answer the question, so be prepared! Remember, all questions are food-related.
Restaurant City Ingredients Tip #4: Trade with friends
Get the missing ingredient for your recipe by asking your friends to trade with you. To do this, visit a friend's restaurant and see what ingredients he has by selecting the "trade ingredients" icon. If your friend has an ingredient you need, click on the desired ingredient. Then, select an ingredient to send your friend. The ingredients you're trading must have the same star level (or higher) than the ingredient you're taking from your friend.
Restaurant City Ingredients Tip #5: Own a garden:
The garden unlocks at Level 16, so this is not a tip for newbies. When the garden is unlocked, you can purchase seeds to grow your own ingredients. Each seed takes 48 hours to harvest and will grow into one of the following ingredients: Basil, Bayleaf, Coffee Beans, Coriander, Garlic, Ginger, Oregano, Saffron, Sugar, Tea Leaves, Vanilla, or Wasabi.
Restaurant City Ingredients Tip #6: Buy ingredients from the market:
Restaurant City offers three different ingredients each day, but they come at a hefty price -- usually over 2,000 coins! For Restaurant City game newbies, buying ingredients isn't practical, since they're so expensive. As you move into the higher levels, money becomes less of an issue, making the market a viable option for obtaining ingredients.
