Seafood lovers of the world unite! The Gulf Coast is your one stop location for amazing shrimp, fish and more. Not a seafood fan? No worries. Mobile, Alabama is home to countless locally owned and family-operated restaurants, diners, and even big name chain restaurants, all ready to provide you with plenty of dining options and meal diversity. If you're ever in the area, the following locations rank among some of the most frequented restaurants in Mobile as well as the greater Gulf Coast area.

Wintzell's Oyster House: Seafood Franchise, Multiple Locations: www.wintzellsoysterhouse.com.
6700 Airport Blvd.
Mobile, AL 36608

605 Dauphin St.
Mobile, AL 36602

Wintzell's Oyster house has been a longstanding tradition of Mobilians since 1938. Known for serving up their classic oysters "fried, stewed or nude," you simply can't go wrong here. While dining in, be certain to purchase a Wintzell's t-shirt which reads "I got fried, stewed and nude" at Wintzell's in Mobile, AL. You will have to check one of the appropriate boxes. The t-shirts are always good for a laugh in larger crowds and families.

Original Oyster House
3733 Battleship Parkway
Mobile, AL 36527

If you're looking for fantastic seafood, a great atmosphere and a taste of Mobile history, swing into the Original Oyster House. Overlooking the historic and beautiful Mobile Bay, this fine restaurant offers fresh oysters and appetizing steamed seafood entrees, salads and side dishes.

American Café
3662-A Airport Blvd.
Mobile, AL 36608

If seafood isn't your fancy, stop into the American Café for a casual dining atmosphere complete with a wide array of beloved American classics, including soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, grilled entrees and thin-crust gourmet pizzas. I personally recommend the thin-crust Mediterranean pizza with a side Ceaser salad and large sweet tea. The American Café has something for everyone, even the kids!

The Pillars: www.thepillarsmbobile.com
1757 Government St.
Mobile, AL 36604

If price is no option, immerse yourself in the fine dining experience and elegant atmosphere that is The Pillars, located near the Government Street and Airport Blvd. split in one of the city's most renowned and historic districts.
