Contrary to what many people think, Italian food isn't all pastas and sauces! The Baralo Grill serves up authentic Italian dishes that include grilled new york strip steak, roasted pheasant and oven roasted veal tenderloin!
One of their less common dishes is grilled octopus with grape tomatoes, topped with croutons and a nice shallot vinaigrette! Another excellent choice is their pan-seared rack of lamb that is served encrusted with spices and black pepper!
While waiting for the main entree, you can enjoy many delicious appetizers. Their calamari comes lightly battered with shrimp and scallops and a creamy mouth watering sauce! And, their Antipasti Assortiti is unforgettable!
There is also a wide variety of pastas and sauces to choose from. And, their menus change often to provide even more delicious dishes! The Barolo's dessert menu is decadent! The creme brulee is served in a potion that will accommodate up to four people!
No Italian meal would be complete without a wonderful wine. The Baralo has an enormous wine cellar that contains over 850 of the finest wines to delight any palate!
The restaurants atmosphere is relaxing and very romantic! The dining room is decorated with ivy, tangled weaves of grapevines and soft white lights. On cooler nights there's a crackling fireplace that casts a warm glow over the dark wood accents.
The Baralo Grill is the perfect place for casual fine dining, or for a dressy special occasion! They have private dining rooms that are excellent for parties. And, their bar and lounge make the ideal place to relax with a few friends or party the night away!
This Italian restaurants popularity makes reservations a necessity! If you're planning a weekend diner, make the reservations early in the week to make sure that you can get a table. But, spur of the moment diners can enjoy salads and appetizers at the bar.
The Barolo offers a great option for those who can't decide which delicious menu item to order! Menu items are available in half sizes so you can have a little of everything!
Although the Barolo Grill is a little higher priced restaurant, two can dine for around $100 excluding the wine. The entrees start at about $15 and the menu items are priced anywhere from $7 up to $35.
There's street-side parking available, but they also offer valet parking. The Barolo is also well known for their friendly, knowledgeable staff that are able to answer any questions that you may have.
The Baralo Grill is located at 3030 East Sixth Avenue in Denver. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30pm until 10:30pm and their bar opens at 5:00pm.
