Cable's Pub and Grill has a great location. It is in the west end of town, which has been developed quite a bit over the last few years. This means the restaurant is located near newer stores and is definitely not in the middle of nowhere.
Cable's Pub and Grill has a great atmosphere. It's a newer building and has been decorated beautifully. I often hear people comment on how well it is decorated.
This Italian restaurant serves exactly what you'd expect - pizzas, pastas, calzones and sandwiches. I have always enjoyed the food here, but I have heard others say they really don't like the food at Cable's. I am not sure if others are too picky or catching the cooks on an off night.
Regardless of what others say I like the food here, and that's what matters. I especially like that there are a few sandwiches to choose from. Big bowls of pasta make for a heavy lunch, so having something lighter available is great. On the other hand, buying a pasta dish can be good because I usually have leftovers for the next day.
Cable's Pub and Grill also has a pretty good bar. I have heard some complain that drink orders take forever to arrive but I have never had that problem. My drinks are always served within a decent amount of time.
The prices here seem to be run of the mill: it's not cheap but it's not outrageously priced either. If you can afford to eat at the average restaurant, you can afford to eat here.
I have heard different opinions regarding service at Cable's. Some say the service is great, some say it stinks. Personally, I have always had good service here. Wait times for tables and orders seem to be acceptable. The servers are friendly and attentive too.
The best way to get an idea of what Cable's Pub and Grill in Greeley, Colorado is like is to eat there yourself. If I had listened to those who had a negative experience there I would probably not have given this restaurant much chance. However, I tried it for myself and had a great time - the food and service was good when I went.
