They have happy hour from 4 to 7 pm, and offer happy hour pricing all day Saturday. They are open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm
Casa Linda provides their menu online for you to view. Unfortunately, they don't provide their pricing. I find a lot of restaurants don't provide pricing. I guess they don't want to divulge too much information to their competitors. Normally I order their special Fiesta Quesadilla. I order it with chorizo which is a Mexican sausage. You can also choose chicken if you want. This dinner also comes with a cup of black bean soup that is very delicious. I can see that it has beans, onion, and a dollop of sour cream. My husband likes burritos and that's normally what he will order. On this night I tried the Chicken Fajitas, and my husband had his normal Burrito.
The Fajitas were nothing special, had plenty of onion, and the serving size was large. My husband said his burrito was okay. He had a beef burrito that was made with ground beef. Most of the time I don't order anything with ground beef as I find most Mexican restaurants don't have much flavoring in their ground beef. Casa Lina is no exception in this. He said the beef had a pretty bland taste. I wish I could find a Mexican restaurant that put more flavoring in their meats and not so much cheese on everything. By flavoring, I don't mean salt.
I find that Casa Linda on Columbiana Drive is inconsistent with their food. At one time you might go in and everything is perfect. There was one evening when we went for dinner at Casa Linda and the service was extremely slow, the food took forever to get, and it was terrible when it finally arrived. We decided at that time that we weren't going to go back.
We changed our minds, and did decide to give them one more chance. Service was okay, there was no problem with the food, and we even got a discount by signing up for their texting service. On the door that night they were offering a discount if you texted a certain number. We got an extra 10% off on one entrée.
Overall I have to say that the service is average, and the food is inconsistent. This is really a shame because I really wanted to like this restaurant. It's in a nice area of town and convenient for us. Usually there is not a wait. That alone, in this area though, attests to the fact that they are inconsistent. If they were a really good restaurant, they would be packed on the weekends, and you would be waiting for a table. We haven't tried any of their other locations. We will probably eat at Casa Linda occasionally, but I wouldn't consider it one of my favorites.
