Eating is one of the joys of life. A restaurant my husband and I enjoyed is called Casa Ramos located in Citrus Heights, California. We enjoyed Casa Ramos for many reasons.

The service is friendly, efficient and helpful. The hostess greeted us with a friendly smile when we walked into the restaurant. She asked me how many people want to be seated and we told her two people. We were seated right away. Soon after being seated the server approached our table and greeted us with a smile and eye contact. He asked if we wanted anything to drink such as soda. My husband said, "I will have a coke." I told him I wanted apple juice. I asked the server what is good. He gave me personal suggestions based on what I liked. For example, I told him I like steak. He then suggested the fajita burrito. He said, "The burrito comes with a soft flour tortilla stiffed with Mexican rice, grilled onions and green peppers. The burrito is garnished with salsa, sour cream and guacamole." Other suggestions he made were the Carne Asada, Steak Mexicano and the fajita steak platter. I thought the fajita burrito sounded good so that was what I got. My husband got the mariscos mojo de ajo, which comes with shrimp sautéed with mushrooms in butter and garlic. We found the server very helpful when it came ordering. He was informative and knowledgeable about the different menu items.

The food varies in price ranging between $11 to $14 dollars for dinner. For lunch you can buy a nice meal for $8 dollars. The food is delicious. I enjoyed the steak burrito was filling. I couldn't even finish the whole meal. I would recommend the fajita burrito. My husband said, "The shrimp dish is good. There is plenty of shrimp in the dish. The dish also comes with rice and beans which fills you up."

The atmosphere is clean and attractive. The windows, doors and floors are all clean. I haven't seen any trash or debris. The drinking glasses, plates and utensils have always been clean and free of debris. The ladies restroom is clean. They are stocked with supplies; it is free of odor and trash. The restaurant is decorated with plants and Mexican paintings. I would consider Casa Ramos a fine dining Mexican restaurant.

The food, service, price and atmosphere of Casa Ramos Mexican restaurant makes this an excellent place to eat. I would recommend Casa Ramos Mexican restaurant to anyone who wants to eat Mexican food.
