Restaurant Review of Chola in New York City

Chola is located in New York City. One thing that I just love about New York City is the fact they are so diverse in their food offerings! You can find soul food, Asian food, Greek food, sea food, Mexican food and now Indian food! Chola specializes in making dishes of North India. So, if you are looking to try something that you have ever tried before, why not give Chola a try?

Let me give you some basic information on how to find Chola. The address is 232 East 58th Street and is closest to the subway N, R to Lexington Avenue: 4, 5, 6 to 59th. The cross streets are 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

You can have lunch at Chola from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Then dinner is served at Chola from 5:00pm to 10:30. However, on Friday they are open till 11:00pm.

It is recommended that you make reservations when planning to eat at Chola. Cholas also has a great full service bar, handicap parking and special handicap services. You can enjoy brunch at Chola on any given day of f the week that you deiced to go there. Also, if you are staying in a hotel nearby and don't want to go out and get food you can have whatever you want delivered to you!

The pros about eating at Chola's are that the food is amazing! Like I said earlier the food is not just Indian food, but it is North Indian food. The food is fresh and very high quality. The dining is very spacious and comfortable. There is something about the atmosphere that just makes it so lovely and relaxing.

Anyway, this benefit will appeal mainly to the women. Chola's is walking distance from Bloomingdale's flagship store! After you eat here and refuel you can go to Bloomingdales and burn some more energy and cash!

The only kind of negative thing I can say about this restaurant is that it is located on a street that has several other Indian Restaurants. However, Chola has certain dishes that you will not find at the other restaurants because they specialize in cuisine of northern India.

When you enter you will feel a soothing atmosphere. Maybe the soothing atmosphere is from the way they painted the interior. The colors of the walls are like a honey color that is warm and calm. The faces when you come through the door are very warm and welcoming!

One great thing is that as soon as you are seated they bring you complimentary appetizer to get you started. The tray of appetizers comes with Indian bread, lentils, chickpea and pickles.
