Restaurant Review: CiCi's Pizza in Lynchburg, VA

CiCi's Pizza is located in Candler's Station in Lynchburg, VA. This restaurant is unique in that they have a pizza buffet for lunch and dinner. I do not know of another place that does this. The cost is the same all day, everyday, at only $5.83. This price includes your beverage of choice with free refills. I really enjoy how you can get drink refills yourself, which means there isn't a battle with the waitress for a refill as can happen in some restaurants.

Both times that I've eaten at CiCi's Pizza with a friend of mine, it was a pleasant experience. This was partly due to the place wasn't overly busy neither time that I was there. It's nice to eat at a buffet and not have to practically fight with a lot of people to get to the bar. However, they do become very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. The crowds from movie theatres tend to migrate over that way as well. CiCi's Pizza also attracts college students because, in addition to their cheap price, they also offer a college discount if you show them your student ID. College students receive a discount of approximately $1.34 off.

If you do not like the pizza options on the buffet, CiCi's pizza will also specially make you a pizza with your choice of toppings. Now, of course, they do have limits on this. Your request needs to be within reason. If you have a party of twenty people and everyone wants something different than what is on the buffet, you might need to combine some of your requests especially if the restaurant is busy.

CiCi's pizza has really good pizza. It's hard to believe as cheap as they are, but it's true. They have several different pizza options on the bar. The crust isn't hard either. Another thing I really enjoy about CiCi's pizza is that you can serve yourself. There isn't a server standing there handing out the pizza. If you want two slices from two different pizzas, it's perfectly fine. It's rather annoying when you eat at an all you can eat buffet and there is someone standing there serving who requires that you eat something one piece at a time. Thankfully, CiCi's pizza doesn't do this to its customers.

On the bar, they also have salad and dessert. Neither is very fancy, but they are good. The lettuce is crisp and they have a selection of salad dressings.

This restaurant is one of my friend's favorite places to eat. He says that he really enjoys the good food and cheap price. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like pizza. You can't beat the price, and the setting is fantastic.
