First Impressions of CiCi's Pizza Wake Forest, NC
Upon entering CiCi's Pizza Wake Forest, NC, you are greeted by the cashier and the menu board. Once you decide between a pizza and the buffet, you select an open table and sit down. What turned me off was a wall in the center of the dining area. This created the allusion of a small dining room.
There was enough room for large parties, which was excellent since I was in a party of six. The tables were a mix of picnic tables and traditional diner style tables. There didn't seem to be a clear following of the franchise rules of operation.
Wait Staff and Menu at CiCi's Pizza Wake Forest, NC
Not having a traditional wait staff, CiCi's Pizza Wake Forest, NC has more of the staff concentrated on the pizza. Most employees were not friendly except one person. He was excited to be at work making pizza. He called out when another pizza was fresh out of the oven and promptly moved the empty trays when a particular pizza tray was empty.
The menu consists of a buffets style pizza with salad and dessert. The staff will make any pizza they sell and put it on the buffet line. This was a positive since my family like the macaroni and cheese specialty pizza.
Lunch at CiCi's Pizza Wake Forest, NC
With an endless buffet, where do you start? I did notice the crust on all of the pizza at CiCi's Pizza Wake Forest, NC appeared to be thinner than a regular crust, yet not a thin crust. All of the pizza was dryer than expected. The amount of guests in the restaurant would have told you otherwise, but the heat lamps were turned up too high. The salad offering was nothing more than bagged salad tossed into a bowl. Various topping and vegetables surrounded the lettuce blend, but overall not visually appealing.
Pros
