Finnigan's Irish Pub & Eatery is one of the most reasonably priced restaurants you will find, and one that hits the spot when it comes to feeding hunger. Located in the Princess Bayside Hotel at 48th street and Coastal Highway, Finnigan's serves American and Seafood favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The menu was limited, however everything was incredibly tempting. They have a wide variety of thick and juicy steaks, seafood entrees, as well as a few pasta dishes. I tried ordering the cheaper of the steaks that were available at $18, however by 6pm they were out of steaks. So I ordered a half pound Black Angus burger. It was huge and served on a Kaiser roll. The roll was freshly baked and the burger was the juiciest burger I have ever had. The burger was served with a fresh pickle spear, tomato, and lettuce, as well as a generous portion of French fries for just $7.
My boyfriend had a crab cake sandwich that was amazing. It was smaller than my half pound burger, it was also served on a Kaiser roll and the crab cake was more like a crab salad sandwich. It was full of spices and a mouth watering array of flavors. The sandwich also came with a mound of French fries. This meal was $10.
The check came out to an even $20 including taxes. Which isn't bad for two people to have a healthy meal, and also have leftovers to take home! This restaurant is not among the many that include the gratuity in the check, so there will be no surprises! Check out the local resteraunt guides, you'll get a coupon for a free beverage too!
If you are planning on dining during the breakfast hours, they only serve breakfast till 11 am daily and their local favorite lunch specials go from breakfast's end till 4pm daily as well. If you like wings, Sunday's thru Thursday's from 4pm to 7pm you can grab wings with $1.25 domestic drafts.
Their dining facilities include an internal dining room as well as a rooftop pool and bar overlooking the stunning bay. If you're looking for some excitement with your dinner, there is also live entertainment Wednesday thru Saturday evenings, as well as pool tables and dart boards. A large television is seated above the bar also.
This little pub is a perfect place to grab a quick, filling bite to eat or sit down and enjoy the surroundings with the family. Children's menus are available. I highly recommend Finnigan's Irish Pub & Eatery.
