My recommendation for Frankie and Johnnie's is easy: order the steak, specifically the filet mignon, which is a really nice size and will be cooked to perfection. That being said, I have yet to find anything on Frankie and Johnnie's menu that is not near perfect.
I must also recommend that you make reservations, because Frankie and Johnnie's is incredibly popular and it does get very busy, particularly on weekends. For contact information, visit Frankie and Johnnie's website at frankieandjohnnies.com.
I would be remiss not to recommend bringing your platinum American Express, because along with being one of the best restaurants in Northern New Jersey, it is also one of the most expensive. But in this case, you do indeed get what you pay for.
Frankie and Johnnie's, located on 14th Street in uptown Hoboken, offers an elegant dining experience that is sure to please everyone in your party. The service is terrific; the wait staff caters to your every whim. Frankie and Johnnie's is truly just all around a wonderful place to dine in Hoboken, New Jersey.
My friend John says of Frankie and Johnnie's: "If money is no object, then Frankie and Johnnie's is the place to go in Hoboken. The food is superb. The staff is highly attentive. And the interior of the restaurant is quite impressive."
My friend Julie says of Frankie and Johnnie's: "Frankie and Johnnie's is an exceptional choice for the pre-theater crowd. Make reservations, buy a couple tickets to something hot on Broadway, and it makes for the perfect evening. I love Frankie and Johnnie's."
My friend Vin says of Frankie and Johnnie's: "Frankie and Johnnie's is easily the best restaurant in Hoboken. It rivals Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Weehawken. If you really want to impress someone, make reservations at Frankie and Johnnie's, and you will not regret it."
My friend Tammy says of Frankie and Johnnie's: "It's my favorite restaurant in Hoboken. Everything on the menu is just plain scrumptious. The dishes are delicious and the portions are each a perfect size. It's expensive but worth every penny. I take my parents there when they come to town and they both love it, too. I definitely recommend Frankie and Johnnie's. Just don't forget to make reservations."
