Restaurant Review: Gota Get a Bagel in Forest Hills, New York

In my last article I wrote about the Manhattan Bagel store located in Forest Hills, NY. This article is about my second favorite bagel store to go to called "Gota Get a Bagel." I really love the name and it is truly unique. The great thing about Gota get a bagel is that the bagels are huge. You will be hard pressed to find a bigger bagel anywhere and the store doesn't charge you any extra cost for their bagels being bigger.

Gota Get a Bagel also has a great selection of toppings to put onto your bagel. They have a big selection of cream cheeses to put onto your bagel like walnut raisin, or smoked salmon. They also fresh whitefish in which you can actually get an entire white fish, skillet it yourself and put whitefish onto your bagel. It is delicious to put fresh tasting whitefish onto your bagel. You can also get the usual lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc. on your bagel as well.

In addition to their bagel section, they also have a pastry section with muffins, croissants, cookies, and cakes. For breakfast, customers love getting bacon and cheese on a croissant or on a bagel.

The bagel selection is also huge and they have some bagel types which you've never even heard of before. Gota Get a Bagel is always baking fresh bagels and as soon as they run out of a certain type of bagel, they are quick to replace it for customers.

In terms of seating, it may be difficult to get a table to sit down. Most customers get a bagel to go. Gota Get a Bagel is located on Austin Street near Queens Boulevard in Queens, NY. The streets are crowded with shops, restaurants and people so it is very difficult to find parking. I suggest bringing quarters for the meters.

The great thing about Gota Get a Bagel is that they have great tasting sandwiches. Although the restaurant may be a little small, they have a lot of different machines that slice and dice sandwiches and they have a wide range of ingredients to put onto your sandwich.

Prices are very reasonable at Gota Get a Bagel. Bagels are usually sixty or seventy-five cents and sandwiches are usually less than four dollars, depending on what type of sandwich you get.

If you are looking for a great tasting bagel place in Queens, NY I recommend Gota Get a Bagel.
