There options seem to go on and on which is good! Unless of course you are the kind person who has a hard time with having too many choices! Another cool thing about Great N.Y. Noodletown is that they are open late into the night and keep there kitchen open right up until they close the doors for the night. The service is very quick and you will not have to wait for your food too long.
I really like the fact that I don't have to wait a long time for them to bring you food. However, they kind of rush you. I don't know if it is because they lack manners or if they are just trying to get you out as fast as they can in order to bring in more people. When you are looking through the menu the waiter or waitress comes around too many times and it just feels kind of pressuring. When you turn them away it seems like they get a little annoyed.
Another thing is that the restaurant really has no appeal as far as the decorations go. It's really plain and has no atmosphere to it at all. There is no alcohol. That is not really an issue with me because I don't drink, but for some people they have an expectation that there is going to be alcohol available to them.
The service is quick like I said before, but from the moment you walk in don't expect warm encounters. They are not very friendly there at all and seem to only be about business. There really is not any other communication with them other than ordering your food; which is really a dry situation.
The overall up side of things is that the food really is delicious! They really do know how to hook up the food. On average for two people you might spend around $30 for appetizer, main dish and drinks. I think that is pretty reasonable, plus you will most likely have food left over.
If you don't really care about having friendly service and decorative atmosphere I would recommend going here just for the greatness of the food! The prices are very good too.
