Restaurant Review of Green Bo in New York City

Green Bo is has been voted one New York City's best choices in Chinese food. Green Bo will serve large portions and unusual dishes like scallion pancakes, yellow fish and dumpling soup. You can enjoy some many delicious and unique dishes for very reasonable prices.

Pretty much every restaurant you go to is famous for something. Well, at Green Bo they are famous for their dumpling soup. You cannot exactly break down what the receipt is, but the soup is off the hook and you will want to learn how to make it or make our way back soon to try it again.

Another thing that Green Bo is known for is there service. Service is so important to me, maybe I am a spoiled American, but if I am going to be paying for food I like to have some service. They are pretty good about not having you wait too long for your meal. They are also late so you can go out to eat maybe after you go see a movie or something like that!

Some of things that may not make this such a pleasurable experience are the decorations and a few other things I will explain rather than just list. The decorations may not even bother you, but it really seems very outdated. It has an outdated Spartan appeal. It seems like it is time for them to really update their look.

Another thing is that if you want to go somewhere to linger and chat with someone this is not the place. I think because the service is so quick it is really not a place to chill for a while. I think their fast and efficient service is to get people in and get them out so that they can get more people in. So, if you want to eat somewhere where you can really take your time this is not the place. However, if you are in a hurry or don't really feel like lingering around then this will make a great option.

This is a very popular place so you will also experience feeling quite crowded if you eat here. At least you know that their cuisine is so great that people can't stop coming.

The appetizers start around $4.50 and one of their more expensive dishes is only about $12.95! So, as you can see their prices are just right!
