For that funky New Orleans feel in Central Florida, diners should pay a visit to Downtown Disney's House of Blues. The restaurant offers delicious Po' Boys, fresh salads and seafood, and steak dishes, all at an affordable price. If you plan on spending the evening at Cirque du Soleil or Disney Quest, or just catching a movie at Downtown Disney's AMC Cinemas, House of Blues is a great way to begin the night.
House of Blues offers a full bar, a wide menu, and a number of tasty desserts. Check out their calendar and be sure to catch a show. House of Blues features such artists and stars as Britney Spears, Billy Bob Thornton, Better than Ezra, the Black Crowes, and many more. Tickets range in price, but the shows are generally very reasonable.
For lunch or dinner, try their mouth watering cheeseburger, topped with American, Swiss or mozzarella, with a side of their perfectly seasoned fries. Or go all out with a steak cooked to perfection. Entrees range from about $10 to $25, and the portions are large and satisfying.
Service at House of Blues is impeccable. The staff is quick and cordial, and the atmosphere is always electric, even in the middle of the day, long before the live music starts. The overall House of Blues experience is something not to be missed during your next Orlando visit.
The bar and restaurant both do get crowded once night falls, so arrive early to check out the scene. You may have to wait for a table during peak hours, so be sure to give your name long before you get too hungry.
If you are a Disney Annual Passholder, be sure to present your card before your meal to save yourself a whopping twenty percent on all food and non-alcoholic beverages. And don't forget to check out the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida, online to see who will be performing this month and in months to come.
