Restaurant Review: Indian Market & Grill in Salt lake City, Utah
Neighborhood Prices, Big Restaurant Taste
Salt Lake City, UT 84103
United States of America
Indian Market & Grill offers a small, but tasty menu. They carry several Indian favorites like Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Curry. They also have excellent daily specials are wonderful. Not only do they offer Indian favorites, but also, if you've got a group with diverse tastes, they will make you a burger or a gyro. The Garlic Burger is an excellent alternative to Indian fair if you're in the mood for something a little more American in flavor.
The service is excellent. The workers are always polite and won't hesitate to ask you questions to try and help you make a good choice if you're a little hesitant on the menu. They are also quick to point out daily specials and specialties, as well as great new desserts and menu items. The food is great dine in or take-out and the portions are large, unlike most Indian restaurants.
The dine in experience is more of a small cafe, rather than a restaurant, but they do have an outdoor patio. The restaurant is located in a beautiful neighborhood, so this might be preferable on a nice, sunny day.
The pricing can't be beat. The menu ranges from just a couple dollars up to about $13 for a meal which would include an Indian dish, heap of seasoned rice and a salad. This is much cheaper than most Indian restaurants you can find. The portions of the meal are also excellent in comparison to other Indian restaurants for the price.
The Indian Market & Grill also has a great selection of Indian cooking items and grocery items, if you wish to take a little bit of it home to make on your own. They even have instant meals that they would recommend if you're looking for something fast and easy to carry.
The Indian Market & Grill is a great little find in a quiet neighborhood. The price is right and the food is great. Don't miss out.
