The pros of Jing Fong are that the restaurant is huge! You are able to come in with large groups of people and they will be able set you up rather quickly. Many restaurants in New York are rather small and so you can't really come in with a large group of people unless you have a reservation. Here you really should have no problem bringing in a larger group whether or not you have reservations are not.
The service is quick; they don't waste anytime bringing you your food or answering your questions. I like this environment, because even though the service is quick and not really too much a place to chill for a while they people are nice and accommodating. Also, there is a large choice of dim sum that you can choose from.
Now there are some things that are little annoyances, but nothing that would turn me off from ever going. The dim sum is pricey; in comparison to other restaurants this one is a little pricier.
They have certain dishes that are very popular at Jing Fong and if you don't order them in a timely matter you might not get to try it! That is right, they only make a certain amount of dishes and when they run out they run out and there is nothing they will do about it! So, I would recommend not going there having your heart set on any particular thing because it may not be available.
Also, this restaurant is pretty well known in New York City they do get really crowded. The more crowded they get the more they tend to rush the eating process so everything seems to happen so fast if you go there when it is crowded.
One thing that I forgot to mention with all the meat, poultry and seafood options they have there are some meatless dishes. For those of you who are vegetarians you are not left out of the game. There are not a lot of choices for you, but there are a few dishes for you too choose from.
