Breakfast at Julie Anne's consists of Ham and Cheese croissants, fresh fruit cups, and a huge selection of pastries. The pastries are to die for. Julie Anne's cream cheese danishes are sinfully good. The pastry is sweet and buttery, and there is more cream cheese filling in one of these danishes than in an entire box of pastries from the supermarket. Get a danish and a cup of strong French vanilla coffee to start the day, for less than $4.00.

The most popular lunch item on the menu is the Turkey Walnut Wrap. This wrap in loaded with shaved turkey, mozzarella, tomatoes, baby spinach, and plenty of chopped walnuts dressed with Julie Anns signature honey mustard sauce, it is heaven wrapped in a flour tortilla, for $5.99. All lunch items are served with potato chips, a carrot stick, pickle spear, and a green olive.

Julie Ann's makes a variety of cakes including wedding cakes. The most popular varieties include Italian cream, red velvet, German chocolate, and brown sugar praline. During the Mardi Gras season Julie Anne's is swamped with orders for their fabulous King Cakes. King Cakes are available in the bakery during Mardi Gras season but can be ordered any time of the year with one days notice. Many of the items on the menu at Julie Anne's can be ordered online and shipped directly to the doors of homes and businesses across the United States. They do catering, as well. While Katie Holmes was in town to film the movie Mad Money she even had Julie Anne's deliver their world class cupcakes to the set as a treat for the crew.
For a quick bite in Shreveport, Julie Anne's is the place to go. They offer excellent food at excellent prices. Try the Lean' n' Tender Ham Sandwich on frosted raisin bread for $5.85 with a fruit cup and raspberry lemonade, it won't disappoint. Julie Anne's has a casual dining area that seats about 50, and though it stays busy there is always a table or two open. This is a great place to have a meal or a snack any time.
