The first thing you will notice when you arrive at Juniors is how packed the restaurant is. On almost every night there will be lines going out the door, waiting for a table. You can make a reservation for a table but you will usually have to wait half an hour for a table anyway. If you don't have a reservation, waiting time will be at least 45 minutes. A good insider's tip is to wait inside the restaurant to hear your name being called. Many people wait outside the restaurant because inside there are so many people packed in, waiting for a table. If you wait for a table outside, you won't be able to hear your name called, even though the table announcements are made using a microphone.
Juniors Cheesecake factory is located in the heart of Times Square so the prices will be expensive. Most meals will cost around $20 and there are no refills on soft drinks. The main course of the meal I have found through my past experiences eating there is good but not great and for the amount of money that you will have to pay for a main course, I don't know if it is worth the money. I would recommend sticking to Juniors' amazing deserts which are worth every penny.
As for the deserts, they are very good and also very expensive. Most deserts on their menu are about $7 or more each. Their desert menu selection is the biggest I have ever seen and you will hard pressed to find a bigger desert selection anywhere else. They have more than 10 different types of cheesecakes alone, ranging from strawberry cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake, creamy and plain cheesecake, strawberry shortcake cheesecake, chocolate cheesecake, fruit topped cheesecake and a whole lot more. They also have different types of chocolate cakes, moose cakes, pastries, and various other types of cakes. The portions for their deserts are enormous. The cheesecake slices are slightly bigger than normal but their chocolate and moose cakes are enormous for the portion you will order.
Juniors is famous for their cheesecake and it is every bit as good as advertised. My favorite type of cheesecake is their strawberry cheesecake which includes a creamy and rich cheesecake, topped with strawberry filling on top with actual strawberries.
The average cost per person for a meal if you get desert, a beverage, and a main course will be about $30 and it will cost you an extra $5 for tip and tax.
