The service is divine, the staff is extremely knowledgeable of the wine and cheese list and are prompt! The food arrives quick and hot, and don't forget delicious!
Chef Kevin is really a culinary genius, as well as their new pastry chef. The food is beautifully presented and delicious! The ostrich is so scrumptious, you may even forget you're eating ostrich and believe you are eating a fine steak.
Even their deviled egg appetizer is amazing! Their wine and cheese bar is delectable, and very satisfactory. If you like garlic, try the garlic mashed potatoes. They are absolutely DIVINE, and Chef Kevin even puts whole cloves of zesty garlic in them. It might leave you sweating garlic for the day, but it is definitely worth it! The braised rabbit is outstanding, not greasy or slimy like most of the rabbit I have tried. In fact, I never ordered rabbit for that reason from any other restaurant, until a friend recommended I try it and promised it wouldn't be what I thought it would!
K is so good, even their fries are to-die-for!
K Restaurant can be a tad bit pricey, but it is extremely worth it. Every dish is prepared with care, and I haven't tried anything I didn't like. Their lobster bisque is probably the best I have ever tried, and also the best I will probably ever try. It's creamy, lobster-y, and chunky in all the right ways.
My favorite part about K Restaurant is the fact that they put local artwork on the walls, and change it frequently. It's nice to be able to experience a different atmosphere each time you visit! I am a big supporter of local indie art scenes, so this is definitely a big factor for me.
I give this restaurant 5 stars. If you're in town, definitely stop by! You will not be disappointed, as in my opinion it is one of the best restaurants in Orlando.
