Restaurant Review: Knish Knosh- the Best Knishes in New York

Knish Knosh is an old fashioned restaurant in Queens, NY right off of Queens Boulevard which is a long stretch of road leading to the highway. What makes Knish Knosh so unique is that it is an old fashioned knish store that has been around for the last 30 years. In fact, its once tiny store has now doubled in size to accommodate its increasing number of customers. Customers who shop and eat at Knish Knosh keep coming back for their great food and they tell their friends, leading to a huge customer base of support.

Most mom and pop stores and restaurants have a hard time succeeding in today's world. Chain restaurants and food stores have put local stores out of business which really is a shame because local stores have a lot to offer. Thankfully, the townspeople in Forest Hills, NY in the borough of Queens have refused to let that happen.

Knish Knosh, like its name suggests, is famous for their knishes which are fresh and ready made once you order. Customers like to place their orders over the phone. The knishes come in all shapes and sizes, and can have various ingredients mixed in with the potato knish like broccoli or spinach. The outside of the knish can be hard or soft depending on your choice.

Knish Knosh also sells to its customers packaged cocktail franks, egg rolls and knishes. These cocktail food items are great to serve at any gathering of people for a party or for just about any occasion. Why try and roll your own cocktail food items when you can buy them straight from Knish Knosh?

Knish Knosh originated as a takeout restaurant only in its small store. In its original store location there wasn't even room for seating. However, with the store's expansion, they have been able to put half a dozen table and chairs in the restaurant for customers to sit and eat.

Prices at Knish Knosh are very reasonable and the food is great. People come to Knish Knosh because their food is so good. In addition to their cocktail frankfurters and knishes, they make plump full size hot dogs and they have meatball and some other small side dish orders for customers.

As for parking, my best suggestion is to place your order ahead of time and then double park your car right outside of the store while you pick up your order. Knish Knosh is located in an area with a multitude of stores but luckily for Knish Knosh, it is also near a residential area with apartment building so you can usually find a parking spot if you want to go in and eat.
