La Familia Taqueria has wonderful service. You are greeted as soon as you walk into the door. The hostess asked, "How many people want to be seated?" My husband told her two. She seated us right away, handed us the menus and told us the server would be with coming shortly. About a minute later the server came with a happy friendly smile. He asked if we wanted something to drink such as soda. My husband said, "I will have sprite." I told the server water with lemon was fine with me. He told us he would bring our drinks and then take our order. When he got back he asked if we were ready to order. I asked him what he would recommend. He told me some of their popular dishes. For example, he suggested the steak fajitas platter, which came with rice, beans, salad and tortillas. He also suggested the enchiladas de camaron, which came with rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, fresh avocado and tortillas. I thought the enchilada sounded wonderful so that was what I ordered. My husband ended up ordering the mojara, which is a deep fried fish that came with the same ingredients that the enchilada did. We thought the server was helpful and informative when it came to ordering. He was also knowledgeable about the different food items and what it entailed. Our food was brought to us twenty minutes after we ordered. We thought the service was quick and efficient.
The price of the food varied from $6 to $10 dollars. They have a variety of dishes. For example, they have taco salads, soups, and breakfast items. For breakfast they serve dishes such as the huevos rancheros, chilaquiles and huevos con chorizo. All the breakfast items come with rice, beans and tortilla. My husband and I would recommend the dishes we ate. The food was very yummy and there was plenty on our plates. My husband said, "This is one of the best Mexican restaurants that I have been to. The fish was fresh and delicious. The side ingredients such as the rice were fresh and cooked just right."
The atmosphere was clean and attractive. There were different plants and pictures displayed around the restaurant. The restaurant was fully of bright attractive Mexican décor such as vases and statues. The place was clean. I did not see any trash or debris. Our plates and utensils were clean.
La Familia Taqueria is a Mexican restaurant my husband and I would recommend. La Familia Taqueria have excellent food, service and atmosphere.
