Over View of Landry's
Located in Kemah Texas, Kemah boardwalk it the ultimate getaway. From fun rides and games located throughout the boardwalk, the great food and customer service you can receive all in one location. Go to enjoy a whole night with family while your kids can ride the train and get a tour of the boardwalk. Check with the restaurants for on going special events as live bands and fireworks fill the skies. A lot of these events are usually free for your enjoyment. Landry's offer diverse menu with a lot of entree's to choose from. You can also enjoy affordable lunch menu Monday-Thursday 11:00am-2pm. Landry's specializes in seafood but that is not where they stop. You can enjoy the freshest seafood with generous portions, tasty pasta dishes, delightful beef and fowl entrees and mouth watering desserts.

HOT APPETIZERS
The incredible choices in appetizers makes it hard for you to choose from, its okay the servers go through rigorous training to be knowledgeable in the food. You can try my personal favorite Seafood Stuffed Jalapenos. Which comes with 5 jumbo stuffed jalapenos stuffed with pepper jack cheese and their famous seafood stuffing. Lightly breaded and golden fried. Or you may want to go with the Crab, Spinach, and Artichoke Dip served with homemade tortilla chips. Try the most popular Oyster Bar Trash. This is 8 blacken Shrimp with 2 oz of blacken Jumbo Lump Crabmeat with white rice with a hint of lemon butter sauce.

MAIN ENTREES

Time to spice up the night with a mouth watering entree meal. With over 50 to choose from but its okay I will make a few selections. Try the Broiled Seafood Platter, enough food to serve two people after the complimentary salad and garlic bread. This comes with broiled tilapia with ponchartrain and crab meat topping, broiled scallops, broiled shrimp, sautéed scampi shrimp on garlic toast, and stuffed shrimp served with risotto rice. If seafood is not your thing go ahead and try the Blacken Chicken Fettuccine or the Pork Chop Milanese. Delicious pork chop bread and broiled the golden brown served with grilled asparagus and angel hair pasta in a light lemon butter sauce.

DESSERT

Always save room for dessert when dining at Landry's. Eat half of your entree and have your server box it up for you. Then they will present their BIG dessert tray. Where to start everything looks so good. With the cheesecake, brownie, or the chocolate mouse cake. I would recommend the banana's foster. You will get two vanilla filled crepes topped with whipped cream chocolate sauce and their secret foster sauce. It is absolutely delicious.

AFTER THE MEAL
Now you are full sitting in your patio chair with the light breeze looking at the great view of Galveston bay while you listen the band playing on most weekends. Or you can walk around and enjoy the fountain they have in the middle. Either way your night is complete and will have a memorable day. You will want to come back for some more next weekend, perhaps when they have the fireworks on Friday night.

The name looks like LAUNDRY when I first see it, makes me think of dirty clothes, or maybe cleaning clothes while eating, perhaps cooking shrimp in boiling water next to some socks...
