Le Madri is located at 168 West 18th Street. The closest subway I would say is the 1/9 at 18th Street. Here is the number to call if you would like to make reservations or have a party 212-727-8022. The cross street is 7th Avenue.
All credit cards are accepted here. One thing that I have found about the restaurants in New York is that there are quite a few of them that will only accept cash. So, it is nice to have a nice restaurant that will accept anything that you will give them.
Reservations are accepted and recommended. If you are having some kind o f special even then you must have some kind of reservation. This is place is so beautiful and the atmosphere is so lovely. They really have made this a place where people can really enjoy having special events here. They are open Monday through Friday from 12:00pm -3:00pm. They close after that and then open back up at 6:00 and close again at 10:30pm.
My only word of caution is in regards to the wine. The wine specials can kind of be misleading. The way they word the special makes you think they are saying one thing when they really mean something totally different. I think it is wise to call them ahead of time and find out what there wine specials are and figure out what they are really offering before you even go there.
I must warn you that you will pay a nice little sum of money if you decide to eat here. The main dishes run from about $22.00 to $30.00. So, if you can imagine how much your dinner could be from the time you order your drinks to appetizers, main dishes and dessert it will not be a cheap day or evening out.
If you decide to have dessert when you eat here I think you should give the chocolate gelato that is richly submerged in espresso. They make it fresh and are a nice light treat after a heavy meal!
Be prepared to enjoy the food, beauty and atmosphere of Le Madri it will be a nice experience.
