Many pubs in Prague deny patronage to stag groups, so it is highly recommended that stag groups coming to Prague come with a full itinerary before arriving.
That said, The Lion's Bar is a highly recommended place for any stag group coming to Prague from Britain. They have 15 plasma televisions and two large projection screens on which all the important football, cricket, rugby union, and rugby league matches are shown. The Lion's Bar is, after all, a sports bar! So you won't miss any of the games from back home.
The Lion's Bar also serves up a quality British menu that will make any Brit feel at home.
The Breakfast menu is served from 11am to 2pm and consists mostly of eggs and bacon or sausages and toast, done up in eight different varieties. The average price is 140,-kc.
There is a large lunch and dinner menu that is served till 10pm. The Mixed Grill of steak, pork, Irish sausage, bacon and chicken is a bit much, but it's pretty tasty if you're in the mood for a meat overload. It costs 290,-kc. More traditionally, there is a Bangers and mash dish for 260,-kc. And of course, there is the Fish & chips for 280,-kc. The chips come from a packet, but the portions are generous and they have Sarsons vinegar. You'll feel like you're at home.
On the lighter side, The Lion's Bar serves up quality Baguettes and Toasties for about 120,-kc.
What truly sets The Lion's Bar apart from its counterparts, however, is the fact that it is able to provide much more than food and drink for its stag clientele. It also provides accommodation in flats for rent or hotel rooms in the Center of Prague. Transportation, to and from the Airport, when arranged ahead of time, is complimentary.
Beyond all that, the Lion's Bar can also arrange social outings for its stags such as Live Fire Arms Shooting, complete with an English language instructor, Go-Kart racing in vehicles that can travel as fast as 65km/hour, and a Paintball competition that mimics the training of the Czech Police Department.
By Czech standards, the Lion's Bar is obscenely expensive and not at all Czech. But for a group of stags from the UK looking for some holiday fun, the Lion's Bar and its services come highly recommended.
The Lion's Bar is pretty easy to find. If you're in Wenceslaus Square facing up the hill towards the National Museum, go to the right on Krakovska (street). The Lion's Bar is half way down the block on the right hand side. The address is Krakovska 19, Prague.

Post a CommentRight right...Being a stag, beware of those agencies unless you wanna get ripped off and spend some time with foreign guides who only know their way around Prague's over/priced tasteless British bars...
From perspective of local licensed guide for Prague, if I were a tourists, going for a stag do, I would never go with Prague piss up - coz its rip off! also why to go to BRITISH BAR IN PRAGUE? - to drink overpriced beer??? - when you can get a beer for 35 CZK in local cool clubs and bars?!?!
What they offer is SILLY!
look for tour operators and local suppliers - you will be skipping the commission paid to "middle man" - you will get local experienced guides with licenses who know where is what.
Prague piss up guides are foreginers who are mostly from Ukraine or Russia, those people will lost them selves in the narrow streets of Old Town! - those people are able to work for the lowest rate, and thats why piss up hires them and thats how their services look like!
The only reason why PRAGUE PISS UP still exists is that the owner managed to steal enought of money and invested to advertisement and awful amount!
look properly on google search, dont click link and book through
