Restaurant Review: Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant

This little diamond in the rough is located in Creswell, Oregon just 12 miles south of Eugene, home of the University of Oregon. Creswell has been blossoming over the past few years to include a brand new Bi-Mart retail store, new Ray's grocery store, new housing developments, and yes, even a great variety of restaurants.

Los Cabos is family-oriented with exceptional service and great parking. The atmosphere is colorful and fun, while the prices are right on target ranging from $6 appetizers to $10 dinner entrees. The place is clean and you get a sense of pride when you walk in the doors.

One customer, Janie Tennis, mother of two and new Avon Independent Sales Representative, tells us her favorite on the menu are the Fajitas, when asked her least favorite she tells us it's the Arroz con Camerones.

This is definitely a restaurant the whole family can enjoy and is great for kids with a sense of adventure to try something new. As parents, we often get stuck in the mundane routine of fast food and easy meals; we forget to expose our children to different cultures and flavors of foods.

At Los Cabos you can do just that and if the kids aren't fans, there are a couple of American choices on the menu too. Of course, you could always stick with one of the deconstructed type meals and let them pick what they want out of the plate.

Los Cabos is easy to find since it is located on the little town's main drag, also connected to the 1-5 exit ramps. The restaurant is a great way for local's to get a fantastic meal without having to drive to one of the two larger cities.
