Restaurant Review: Mimi's Cafe

I like eating at Mimi's Cafe in Sacramento, California. This is an all American restaurant that is sure to cure your hunger. There are many reasons that I enjoyed eating at Mimi's Café.

The service is superb. As soon as I walked into the restaurant the hostess greeted me with a friendly smile and eye contact. She asked how I was and how many people want to be seated. Her greeting was so welcoming, that it made me feel valued as a customer. As the hostess walked me to the table she engaged me in some small talk. When I got to the table she handed me the menu and told me my server will be with me soon. A couple minutes later the server came with an upbeat and friendly smile. He asked me if I would like something to drink and if I was ready to order. I told him I want to order the pot roast dish. I asked him if it was any good. He told me it was. He asked if I would like to add soup or salad to my meal. I declined the soup and salad. After a couple of minutes he came back, brought me some fresh muffins and refilled my water. He told me if I needed anything else to let him know. I thought he was attentive and friendly throughout my entire visit. He always checked back to make sure everything was going good and I was satisfied with my meal.

The food was excellent. The pot roast was free from fat, which I like. It came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The muffins were just wonderful. They were fresh and hot. The butter would just melt quickly on the muffin. The price is fairly inexpensive. Most food items are priced around $8 dollars.

The atmosphere was clean, entertaining and fun. I did not see any trash or debris on the floors or seating area. The woman's restroom was clean and stocked with supplies. There were different types of décor throughout the restaurant that represented France. For example there were paintings and instruments on the walls. They also had fake windows with curtains in different areas of the restaurant and plants outside of those windows. They made the restaurant look like a French café.

The restaurant had everything that I would expect from an excellent place to eat. I enjoyed the service, food and atmosphere. For a great place to eat Mimi's Cafe is the place to be.
