Richard Banks
In the suburb of Raleigh, NC is O'Charley's. This quant restaurant will soon be known as the king of the 2 for lunch/dinner special. This restaurant stands out among the hundres in the area for service, quality, and atmosphere.

First Impressions of O'Charley's Wake Forest, NC

On the outside, O'Charley's Wake Forest, NC appears to be just another hometown restaurant such as Ruby Tuesday or Applebee's. Entering O'Charley's Wake Forest, NC, you are transformed into another world. You have now stepped into a trendy hotspot where you can relax after work with a cocktail.

On the flip side, O'Charley's Wake Forest, NC is a fantastic establishment to bring the family for a Saturday afternoon lunch. The tall booths provide an ample amount of privacy as to not interrupt you or fellow guests. The only drawback was the lighting. I went during the afternoon and the lighting was dim.

The waitress was observant to our need, whether it was refreshing drinks or offering suggestions/specials on the menu. She knew her job and performed it without hesitation. She also knew when to allow us to enjoy our meal without interruption.

The menu consisted of a wide array of dishes to include sandwiches, seafood, poultry, and pasta to name a few. The pricing was reasonable. The biggest draw was the 2 for $14.99 meals and the two signature items starting at $5.99.

Lunch at O'Charley's Wake Forest, NC

We chose the teriyaki sesame tilapia and the grilled Baja chicken. The tilapia was cooked to perfection. Tilapia is an interesting fish if not cooked correctly. It should be flaky and moist. O'Charley's Wake Forest, NC ensured both when preparing this meal. The sesame-pineapple sauce was the perfect contrast to the red pepper flakes.

The Grilled Baja chicken was also moist. The southwest flavor was prominent throughout the dish. The Pico de Gallo had the correct amount of peppers to bring out the flavor.
